Seductive Sea Northwest Shetland--Pumpkin Picking 2
A hand dyed Shetland yarn in a silky Aran weight. Grown in Washington, milled in California, this is a luscious, silky yarn overdyed over a warm brownish gray. On the softer side of the Shetland wool spectrum, this yarn creates a fabric with strength and luster from the long staple of the fleece. The sheep was aptly named Selkie and this yarn will seduce you with its siren song of luster and stitch definition. The colors have a depth and richness that comes from dyeing over the warm natural color of the fleece. Pumpkin Picking 2, splashes of teal with burnt orange, gold, and eggplant. Same dye bath as Pumpkin Picking 1 but it has more more teal and less orange. 2-ply, 100 grams, 105 yards.
