Ep 234: Technical Difficulties with the Knitting Content

Kelly Locke

Just the chat today. We had some technical difficulties with the knitting part of the show. We'll try to troubleshoot once Marsha returns from Rhinebeck. If you like the chat, welcome! If you're here for the knitting, we'll see you in episode 235.

  • Hi! It was so fun to hear about your Whittie reunion! Our son and daughter-in-law both graduated from Whitman in 2008/2010. Plus, my husband and I lived in WallaWalla in 1983/84. We may have crossed paths! I remember Merchants very fondly, sitting and drinking coffee. We live in Bellingham now and frequent Seattle to visit aforementioned kids!
Thanks for sharing and I look forward to a full podcast!

  • I always love hearing you talking about your time in Walla Walla because I lived there from 2015-2019. I went to school at WWU and WWCC and worked at the hospital. It’s so cool to me and feels like such a small world that the hosts of one of my knitting podcasts lived in Walla Walla too! I had barely started knitting when I moved away, so I haven’t ever been to Purl2, but always check the hours when I’m back in town. Earlier this year I went to Echolands with my SIL and they had sheep grazing in the vineyards! It was so lovely to drink wine, look out at the gorgeous view, and watch the sheep. There were several lambs when I went too, which was so fun to watch. I’m sure they don’t have the sheep there all the time but I plan on calling and asking next time I’m in town. The wine was delicious too, so that was a great perk haha. Highly recommend next time you’re out there!!
